Breaking Bad (Heisenberg Poem)
Heisenberg
Once a timid science teacher
Lost out in the private sector
Changed his life to deter
Family’s loss from death’s dark specter
Reaching out to a former student
He intended to disrupt
Contact with buyers imprudent
Soon the business would corrupt
Hair loss from the cancer
Was replaced with a goatee
New product was the answer
Because of purity
Business was not drugs or money
He built his great empire
Found out land of milk and honey
Was nothing to aspire
Lives destroyed at every turn
All in the quest for power
Then his lack of real concern
Haunted his final hour
The Show
I actually didn't start watching the show until it was a few seasons in. I started from the beginning in season one through Netflix and quickly got caught up. In my own personal opinion this is the greatest show ever written. The writing and plots became better with each progressive episode. The character development was phenomenal. Whether you loved or hated the characters you felt something for them. If you haven't seen it yet, I hope that I made the poem vague enough that you won't have too much ruined for you.
